Lockdown

Security lockdown is for safety and prevention of harm. Buildings or partial areas of buildings can be monitored and lockeddown from a key location creating an internal safe environment, preventing harm to people occupying the area if they are threatened and in immediate danger.

A 24 hour lockdown process is becoming more prevalent and prevents access until safety advice and procedures are adhered to. Notification to security services ensures response.
